Building A Sanctuary of Transformation

Discipleship – “Up, In, and Out” in which Christ is exalted, Christ is in our midst, and Christ sends us out to the world.

We describe the shape of a disciple’s life as “Up, In, and Out.”  Meaning, we are oriented in our daily lives and in our worship and service, “Up” to God in love and worship, “In” to Christ’s Church in service and ministry, and “Out” to the world through evangelism, compassionate service to the needy, and in works of justice.

Worship: “Up” in which Jesus Christ is exalted

Sunday mornings, 10:30 a.m.

Holy Eucharist – We base our pattern of worship on the Rite II service in the Book of Common Prayer. We use more contemporary songs and some hymns in our music.

Fellowship and prayer: “In” in which Jesus Christ is known among us and the Holy Spirit moves in our midst

Mid-week discussion Groups for Men and Women

A men’s group meets in a home in Campbell on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m.

A women’s group meets in Los Gatos on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m.

A second women’s group meets in Santa Clara every other Tuesday evening.  The second group is particularly well suited to welcome newcomers.

The focus of our ongoing groups is discipleship and real life change as people study the Bible and apply principles of transforming discipleship in their lives.  We seek to know, love, and follow the Lord Jesus, and these groups help encourage participants to do that.

Christ the King offers the Alpha Course twice each year, in February – May and in September-November.  This 11 week course consists of a weekly dinner with friends, some old, some new and an exploration of matters related to life and faith. The Alpha Course has been run in more than 130 countries and has had 22 million participants. It is a very fun, engaging, and low pressure way to explore the Christian faith.   Got Questions?  CTK has Alpha and we can help you explore and grow.  Join us for this exciting opportunity.  For more info on schedule and exact location, call the church office at 408-770-2260.

About Our Church

Anglican Mission logoChrist The King Anglican Church embodies the Three Streams of the historic Christian Church: The Scripture (Evangelical stream), The Sacred (the Sacramental stream) and The Spirit (the Charismatic stream).   We are happy to belong to The Anglican Mission: A Society of Mission and Apostolic Works. The Mission.  The Mission began in December 1999, and it has been the leader in establishing new churches and ministries in an Anglican heritage across North America. In recent years, The Mission has grown to include many overseas works, including The Anglican Mission: India.

We’re committed to believe and trust Jesus Christ, to be directed by His Spirit, and to trust in His Holy Scripture as our standard in matters of faith and practice. Everyone who is at Christ the King now was once a visitor and decided to make this his or her church home. We hope you will consider making the same decision! If you are interested in church membership or more information, please call the church office at (408) 770-2260.
