Staff and Leadership
The Rev. Mark Lauer is the Senior Pastor (Rector) at Christ the King Anglican Church. He is married to Shawnie for 19 years and the father of Morgan, aged 4. Mark is an extroverted people-person and a dreamer sort of visionary. He loves solitude, too, and quiet time for reflection and study. He is also a licensed pilot, plays the guitar, was a roadie for a band, and has far more songs on his iPhone than games. He has worked in the technology market of Silicon Valley for 14 years and ran his own international sales consulting for 6 of those years. He co-founded a coaching center for life coaching, relationship coaching, and sales coaching (www.centerforrelationship.com). He also enjoys working at-large as a pastor in the local community. He enjoys officiating over various ceremonies for those who have no church home (www.pastormarklauer.com). Mark has earned degrees in psychology at Oregon State University and theology at Fuller Seminary, and he has done post-graduate work at Santa Clara University. He has served as an associate pastor at Calvary Church of Los Gatos, Menlo Park Presbyterian Church, South Hills Community Church (San Jose), and on the church planting team of Cornerstone Community Church (San Jose).
